In 1985, I founded the Chicago area STAGE TWO THEATRE COMPANY. The furthest north of the League of Chicago Theaters, I ran the company and was its Artistic Director through 1994. This professional theater company’s goal was to stimulate thought and arouse the imagination with its choice of productions. This ensemble believed that theater is a vehicle to inform and disseminate ideas, a catalyst for change. Our productions reflected a strong social conscience. We began performing in the black box theater at the College of Lake County and then in 1990 moved into our permanent home in downtown Waukegan.
